2012 Video Highlights: Freshman Allonzo Trier joins 1,000 points club

The past few years HomeSchool Basketball has had the privelage to see some of the nation's best high school talent. The top tier list includes players like Moriah Jefferson, Taber Spani, Justin Jackson, & Allonzo Trier. All of these players have been touted as top recruits, despite only being a freshman Trier has become the most polarizing figure in HomeSchool Athletics.
At the 2012 National Championships Allonzo accomplished something that no high school freshman (entering the 2011-12 basketball season) had ever accomplished when he scored his 1,000th point of the season. The OKC Storm's Trier ended the year 1043 points as he became the highest scoring freshman in high school basketball history. The video below documents this accomplishment:

The game in which Trier scored his 1000th point of the season took place in the National Elite 8, the game was against the St. Johns Warriors (MI). Trier helped his Oklahoma City Storm erase a double digit 4th quarter deficit as OKC forced Overtime where they dominated and advanced to the National Final 4.

Trier has been receiving a lot of press after his record breaking Freshman season for the Oklahoma City Storm, MaxPreps posted an article about him scoring the most points (1042) of any freshman in High School Basketball History. Allonzo was named 1st team Little All-City Trier was also named as an Honorable Mention in the 2011-12 Boys Basketball Freshman All-American Team by MaxPreps. Finally Zo was listed in MaxPreps Class of 2015 Watch List
