On December 5th 2013 the Houston based HomeSchool Basketball HCYA Warriors were part of a historic night in HomeSchool Sports. HCYA was featured in a nationally televised game on ESPNU against Trinity Christian. The game pitted two of the Top 10 players in the Class of 2014, HCYA's Justin Jackson Vs. Trinity Christian's Myles Turner. Jackson is the 8th ranked high school basketball player in the nation, Turner is #2. Earlier this year HomeSchool Basketball & HCYA Warrior Star Justin Jackson signed with the University of North Carolina where he will play for legendary coach Roy Williams.

Tonight HCYA will make history when they play at 9 PM (EST) on ESPNU.
The November 2013 HomeSchool Basketball National Rankings consist of 50 teams officially ranked with a watch list of 20+ teams representing a total of 70 teams from 24 states! The #1 Ranked team in the Nation is the OKC Storm who are HomeSchool Basketball defending Undisputed National Champion. The No. 2 ranked Houston HCYA Warriors are OKC's top contender. HCYA is led by the greatest male HomeSchool Basketball Player of all time, UNC commit Justin Jackson. Without a doubt HCYA will keep the pressure on Chauncey Collins (TCU commit) & his OKC Storm.

The top two Ranked teams in the Nation are Memphis teams, the #1 MHEA Eagles & No. 2 FCA Nighthawks. The top contenders for these spots are a pair of Texas teams, the Lubbock Titans & Dallas HSAA Angels.
The Tulsa NOAH Jaguars are coming off their most successful season in the history of their program. The Jags won their 1st ever Varsity Boys Gold Ball & finished the season 3rd in the Nation, behind only the OKC Storm & HCYA Warriors. The graduation of 2011-12 leading scorer Michael Maras and the announcement that HomeSchool Basketball Star and 2012-13 leading scorer Allonzo Trier was transferring to Montrose Christian (Kevin Durant's alma mater) left many question marks around this years Tulsa NOAH Jags. The announcement that Chris Wallace would stay as head coach was the start of good news for the 2013-14 Jaguars team!
This past weekend Wisconsin's Lakeshore Thunder Varsity Boys attended the 10th annual National Tip-Off Championship Tournament in Springfield, MO. The Thunder entered Tip-Off with their highest ever National Ranking and used a huge win over Memphis FCA to advance to the Semi-Finals of the record 22 team & 11 state Varsity Boys field. Last week the Augusta, GA based GAIS Eagles traveled to Springfield, MO to take part of the 10th annual National Tip Off Tournament, his Varsity & JV team took part in the 22 team & 11 state B18U division that featured the equivalent to 10 Nationally Ranked teams. This Past weekend the OKC Storm had tremendous performance program wide, for this post we will focus on their Varsity Boys historic National Tip Off Tournament Championship run. There is also a huge potential match-up between the OKC Storm & HCYA Warriors this weekend. A rematch of the 2013 Undisputed National Championship Game, which the OKC Storm won by double digits behind a Chauncey Collins' (TCU Commit) 22 point 4th quarter performance.
